Quran Classes for Adults

Nobody else is in the room

The single most common reason adults do not start is the thought of reciting badly in front of others. Every lesson here is one to one. There is no class listening, no one further ahead, and no reason to pretend you remember more than you do. Tell your teacher honestly where you are in the first lesson and the plan is built from there.

Built around work, not around us

Lessons are booked at times you choose, and you can hold them early before work, late after the children are asleep, or at the weekend. Teachers work across time zones and your lesson times are always shown in your own. If your week changes, reschedule within the notice window — the aim is that the lessons survive a busy month rather than quietly stopping.

Starting again after years away

A great many of our adult students learned as children, stopped, and have carried a quiet embarrassment about it since. That gap is ordinary and nothing to apologise for. Your teacher will listen to you read, tell you plainly what is already sound and what needs work, and pick up from there. Most people find they have kept more than they feared.

Whatever you came for

Some adults want to read correctly at last. Some want to memorise the short surahs so their prayer feels different. Some want to understand what they are saying, and some want all three over time. Say which it is and the lessons are shaped to it — there is no fixed syllabus everyone must be pushed through regardless of what they actually need.

Taught on the way of Ahl as-Sunnah wa'l-Jama'ah

Our teaching follows the Qur'an and the authentic Sunnah as understood by the Companions and those who followed them in goodness, honouring the Companions and respecting the four well-known schools of fiqh. Recitation is taught in Hafs 'an 'Asim. Your first lesson is free, needs no card, and commits you to nothing.
